Antango is a very modern stallion showing superb movement, elasticity and natural balance. He has exceptional hind leg connection producing powerful, elevated paces.
Antango’s Sire, Ampere, was champion at the KWPN licensing in s’Hertogenbosch. He produced several champion foals and auction toppers. In 2011 he was sire of the 2nd runner-up of the German Foal Championships in Lienen. At the auction in Vechta he made a new record: A foal by Ampère was sold for the unbelievable price of 200.000€!
Ampère won the Dutch performance test – the 70 days performance test in Ermelo – in 2008 with the highest points ever! (walk 8, trot 9, canter 9,5, ridability 9, talent as dressage horse 9).
Ampère is one of the three Rosseaus sons in a row that has won the Dutch performance test and has become champion of the stallion test with very high points.
The test riders praised him as the best horse they had ridden for years. He has passed on his exceptional gaits to his offspring.
Ampère’s dam sire Flemmingh counts as a supplier of international top horses like Krack C (Anky van Grunsven) or Lingh (Edward Gal). Flemmingh produced the young stallion champion of the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta in 2009. Ampère’s motherline has left both breeding stallions as well as a great number of competing horses within both jumping and dressage, like the licensed stallions Mythos (Mytens xx – Farn) and Gringo (Ramiro – Amor).
Antango’s Dam Oronia produced the licensed stallion and test-winner Don Tango (by Contango) and many successful dressage horses, e.g. Don Tango’s brother Vontango, who competed in Grand Prix.
Her sire, Jazz won international Grand Prix. In 2002 he and Tineke Bartels were members of the Dutch dressage team at the World Equetrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera.
Joseph’s Dam is the outstanding KWPN mare Zienna O.
Negro’s place in history is now assured as one of the all time greats of the dressage breeding world. With an index of 150 (92%) he has just been installed in the KWPN hall of fame as a preferent stallion, 1 of only 24 stallions ever to achieve this
Recently, famous as the sire of European gold medal and double Olympic Champion winner Valegro and identified by Carl Hester as his preferred bloodline in Horse & Hound
Negro won the KWPN Stallion Championships twice, was awarded the ‘Young Stallion’ Title in 2001 as well as being the best KWPN horse at the 6 year old World Championships in the same year. He competed through the levels to Grand Prix until a training injury ended his competition career.
Negro’s sire, Ferro, was also an outstanding achiever, internationally, taking 6th place at the World Equestrian Games in 1998, Team Silver at the European Championships in 1999, as well as 2nd place in the World Cup Final also Team Silver and Individual 5th place at the Olympic Games in 2000.
Zienna O’s dam sire is the equally successful Welt Hit, a son of the superlative Weltmeyer…known to always pass on his excellent quick hind leg and his outstanding movement and conformation.
Zienna contains the very best of these super-sires, having a calm, workable temperament, amazing conformation and that all important hind leg that powers the frame upwards meaning that she passes to her offspring great power, elevation and cadence.
