With an exceptional pedigree and exemplary movement, this young stallion is an outstanding competition prospect who has everything required to be an unparallelled sire. He was much admired at his Stallion Grading and gained many fans at his Stallion Parade where his movement was matchless. WOODLANDER SANTANA is both charming and elegant who descends from the motherline of the great St Pr PIKANJE who was German Buneschampioness as a three year old and laid the foundation for top breeding stallions such as WELTREGENT H and WELTROYAL as well as numerous sportshorses in dressage and showjumping.
By the outstanding SIR DONNERHALL an excellent breeding and competition stallion, who has the highest FN Breeding Stallion Rating and is a consistent producer of top class offspring, including Regional Champions, Licensing Champions, and who was himself World Breeding Champion as a 5 year old. SIR DONNERHALL is both immensely popular and highly significant, which was reflected in his 2009 stud fee of Euros 2000!
Pedigree Highlights
SIR DONNERHALL is perhaps one of the best sons of the legendary SANDRO HIT, who was World Champion six year dressage horse in 1999 and the sensational Champion at the National Young Horse Championships in Warendorf. His offspring are highly prized as his bloodlines dominate. He has produced one top foal after another. His son, SUPER STAR was sold for over Euros 250,000 at the Vechta auctions. He has produced over 60 approved stallions and state premium mares including SIR WILSON and STEDINGER. For years his offspring have been winning medals at the National Young Horse Championships, for example SHOW STAR, National Young Horse Champion 2001 and Vice-Champion 2002.
His daughter POETIN won the National Young Horse Championships twice, the first time in 2000, winning the six year old dressage horse final, plus she won the World Championship title in 2003. Morover this exceptional mare commanded the record price of Euros 2.5 million at the PSI Auction. SANDRO HIT also produced SANDRO, the Reserve-Champion at the National Young Horse Championships and SUNNY BOY, the winner of the small final. His offspring continue to dominate at auctions and in competition.
Another illustrious name within this pedigree is the legendary DONNERHALL, named Hannoverian Stallion of the Century and who was also World Champion in 1998. His importance as a sire cannot be overstated and his name is always highly sought in a dressage pedigree. He is the sire of outstanding stallions such as DON PRIMERO, DON GREGORY, DE NIRO, DONNERSCHWEE, DREAM OF GLORY, DAVIGNON, DONNERSLAG, DUNROON, DON KENNEDY and DON FREDRICO as well as numerous State Premium mares and outstanding competition horses.

A stunning combination of two World Class Dressage bloodlines from German and Dutch breeding, this young stallion shows huge, elastic movement, great beauty and a wonderful temperament. Qualified for the Regional Championships in 2007 and 2008, he will undertake his performance test in Germany in 2008.
His first crop of foals saw multiple ribbons with two colts in the top ten at the Almin National Foal Championship as well as siring the Champion Foal and the Reserve Supreme at the British Warmblood Summer Show 2005 and the Reserve Youngstock Champion for 2007. Without exception, his foals share his looseness and movement as well as his beautiful head and neck and correct limbs.
DEL AMITRI'S pedigree includes International Grand Prix Warmblood stallion OLYMPIC COCKTAIL, ridden by Anky Van Grunsven. OLYMPIC COCKTAIL is the sire of another top International Dressage stallion - JAZZ. DEL AMITRI is also very closely related to the amazing OLYMPIC BONFIRE as both COCKTAIL and BONFIRE are by PURIOSO.
The sire of DEL AMITRI - DI MAGGIO was the Winner of the World Breeding Championships as a 5 year old and now, standing in Germany, is producing top priced Auction foals. The Grandsire on the dam side is the "modelmaker" ONYX, so called because of the fantastic type of his offspring. ONYX was a Grandson of the legendary IBRAHIM. DI MAGGIO is by the outstanding DON PRIMERO, not only a proven sire but an imposing competitor in International competition, who is a full brother, (in blood) to the superb DON SHUFRO, who's Dam FIESTA is a full sister to his mother FANTASIA.

From the same family as WOODLANDER ROCKSTAR, mixing the blood of WELTMEYER, SHERLOCK HOLMES and WARKANT on the sire's side with SAO PAULO, a Showjumping stallion, (but also the sire of Isabell Werth's International Grand Prix winning SATCHMO), and LANTHAN for great beauty and elasticity on the dam side.

This stallion is recommended for Dressage, Eventing and Showjumping. He gets his scope from his Hanoverian Jumping Programme dam, ST PR SAVANAH, the stamina and galloping capability from the Thoroughbred blood of SACRAMENTO SONG XX and his Dressage gaits from his winning KEYSTONE WALENTINO sire line.
This cocktail of blood is similar to that which produced performance horses such as SAN REMO, WAIHAIAMA and UNICEF.

WOODLANDER ROCKSTAR brings together the exceptional blood of RUBINSTEIN I and SANDRO - the one for temperament and rideability, the other for power and expression.
SANDRO is the sire or grandsire of such horses as SAMBA HIT, SANDRO HIT, SUNNY BOY, SAN REMO and SHOWSTAR. SAO PAULO himself has the honour of being the sire of Isabell Werth's International Grand Prix horse SATCHMO.
RUBINSTEIN I's dam, ANTIME is a full sister to the Dressage World Champion AHLERICH and the outstanding stallion AMON. Her full sister, ADONE is the mother of the Multiple Olympic Gold Medalist REMBRANDT as well as the top stallions ROYAL ANGELO, RAMON and ROSARIO.
The Hanoverian State Stud stallion ROTSPON produced two winning stallions in his second crop of stallion candidates - RASCALINO and ROYAL BLEND.
The dam of WOODLANDER ROCKSTAR, ST PR ST SAVANNAH, was British Dressage Broodmare Champion and is selected into the Hanoverian Jumping Programme. From her six foals she has bred the two successful young dressage horses WOODLANDER FRANK SINATRA and WOODLANDER WIZARD. also the 2 BWBS Graded Stallions WOODLANDER ROCKSTAR and WOODLANDER WESUVIO (Reserve Champion Stallion and Champion Stallon respectively), and the Supreme Foal and Youngstock Champion for the BWBS.
WOODLANDER ROCKSTAR has proven his competition temperament and qualified Medium in 2007 at only five years old and will appear at the Nationals in 2008. He recently won the Addington Premier League Young Horse International under two visiting foreign Judges. With 82% he beat Laura Bechtolsheimer into 2nd place with her new horse DANKESCHOEN and HALF MOON DELPHI into 3rd. He competed at Prix St George in 2008. In 2010 he became the WINTER ADVANCED MEDIUM DRESSAGE CHAMPION, leading from the front of the field and gaining the title.
