DECANTER has 3 fabulous paces and an excellent jumping technique, added to which a wonderful temperament and superb colour.  His offspring are extremely popular and he has a son in Holland who has been retained for breeding and a stallion son in South Africa.

He started competing in 2008 and has competed at the British Dressage National championships and most Regional Championships since then.  In 2011, he has qualified for the Winter Regionals at Medium Level in only 2 outings and Advanced Medium in only 1 outing with scores of 70.88% and 72.89%.  He will be competing at the Addington Regionals in February.

DECANTER is producing elegant stock with big paces and excellent temperaments.  Feedback from mare owners indicates that his foals are very easy to handle and a delight to back and ride on.

His sire, DIMAGGIO, was World Breeding Champion in 2000, competed at Grand Prix and is proving himself to be a superlative sire.  He produced the 2011 World Breeding Champion, WOODLANDER FAROOUCHE, who blew away the competition in the 5 year old class and finished with a score of 9.72.  He is sire of many Approved sons including WOODLANDER DEL AMITRI, DIAMO GOLD, DYNAMIC and DON AMORE.  

DIMAGGIO'S sire is the outstanding DON PRIMERO, himself an International Dressage horse and the producer of at least 40 International Dressage horses.

DON PRIMERO is by the legendary DONNERHALL, the most successful dressage horse in the world who had an exemplary career.  He combined success in breeding and sport alike.  In 1986, he was the German DLG Champion in Hanover.  After many wins in Grand Prix, Grand Prix Specials and Freestyle classes at International level, he became German Champion in 1994, Team World Champion and Individual Bronze medal winner in the Hague.  In 1997, he obtained Team Gold and Individual Bronze at the European Dressage Championships in Verden.  In 1998, he was included in the German World Championship Team and was a member of the Gold Medal Team in Rome, coming 4th in the Individual.  DONNERHALL won the World Cup European League, as well as being the Oldenburg Dressage Stallion of the Year in 1997 and 1998.

DONNERHALL is a prolific sire of dressage horses and has at least 70 who have competed Internationally.  His Approved sons include such eminent stallions as DON SHUFRO, DON FREDERICO, DONNERSCHLAG, DONNERSCHWEE, DE NIRO, DAVIGNON and DONATELLO.

WORLD CUP I is recognised as a superlative sire with numerous offspring competing at International level.  He is renowned as the sire of the legendary WELTMEYER, as well as the stallions WARKANT, WALT DISNEY I AND II, WOODSTOCK and WORLD OF DREAMS.

GRADITZ is sire of the famous International Dressage horse GIGOLO and has also produced several stallion sons.

2008 DARK BAY HANOVERIAN STALLION

DON ROLIETO is a young stallion with a big future as his pedigree suggests.  He is very modern and extremely elegant with natural cadence and 3 excellent gaits.  He has ahown his superiority in hand with major wins in National competitions.  At only 4 months old he was placed 3rd in the British Equestrian Federation Elite Championships, was 5th at the Hanoverian Finals and was a First Premium Dressage Foal. (see picture on left)

In 2009, he was awarded Elite Status by the British Equestrian Federation,  In 2010, he was a Higher 1st Premium British Equestrian Federation Winner and became a Graded British Warmblood Society Stallion, and his sire, DON RICOSS'S First Stallion Son.

DON ROLIETO is now under saddle with Alice Oppenheimer, where he shows his level temperament and willingness to work.  It is planned for him to compete in Young Horse Classes next year.

His Sire, DON RICOSS, (see right) is a modern, young dressage stallion equipped with 3 first class gaits, an outstanding character and great attitude to training and work.  So far, he has had a superb competition career,which includes Winning Vice Champion Hanoverian Stallion at the World Championships at Elmlohe and 30 Day Test Champion.

His foals have inherited his temperament, athleticism and paces, as can be seen with DON ROLIETO.

DON RICOS'S sire, DON FREDERICO (DONNERHALL/CONSUL) (see left) was Champion of the Hanoverian Licencing in 1999.  In his Performance Test he was Overall Vice Champion and Champion of the Dressage with an outstanding score of 151.67.  He is currently the sire of 20 Licenced sons and 111 State Premium mares. 

DON RICOS'S dam, WINDROSCHEN, is by the legendary WELTMEYER (WORLD CUP 1/ABSATZ) who is a multiple Champion:-  Champion of Stallion Licencing, Champion of Performance Test, Bundeschampion, as well as at the prestigious DLG Show.  He has sired more than 100 Approved Stallions, 200 State Premium mares, 11 Bundeschampions, Performance Test Winners and an outstanding 148 successful advanced level dressage horses, including Olympic Gold Medal Winner WELTALL and World Cup Winner WARUM NICHT, along with WESERPERLE S, WIE WELTMEYER and VINCENT.

BALZFLUG, (see right) is bred from the best performance bloodlines in the Trakehener Studbook.  His sire, HABICHT, is noted as one of the most influential sires of dressage horses, having produced National ranked top mares and Approved Stallions.  He is the sire of the Top Ranking Stallion COCKTAIL and also sired the 2004 Olympic Bronze Medalist in Eventing, WINDFALL.

SOVEREIGN BILL produced many Grand Prix showjumpers including GUELDERSON, FELLINI and EXCELLENCE.  He also sired 50 Ster/Keur mares.

CHB (COOKIE) is a 4 year old KWPN Stallion who absolutely wowed the Judges at the Anglo European Studbook Grading and was awarded  Full Grading Status.  He was the only Dressage Stallion to receive the highly coverted Licenced Status usually reserved for stallions competing in their age classes.

Director of the Anglo European Studbook, Henk Minderman commented:-

"Now THAT is a dressage horse..."

and later stated that he has the paces and presence to go to Grand Prix.

This young man has amazing movement, showing outstanding hock action coupled with extreme elevation in all paces, he will find piaffe and pirouette work effortless.

His sire, JOHNSON, is a son of the Keur Stallion, Jazz who performed to Grand Prix level with Tinke Bartels. JOHNSON is a rising star.  His exciting pedigree combined

 with his perfect dressage model is a recipe for success.  JOHNSON has 3 excellent gaits, combined with an easy going character and willingness to work, all traits that are passed onto his youngstock.  He was the Overall Champion of the KWPN Stallion Show in 2005, Top Ranked in the Stallion Competition series in 2006/7 and was 6th at the Championship in Verden in 2007.  He won the final of the Stallion Competition in 2008.

From his first crop of foals, 2 stallions were Approved.  He is also the sire of BRETTON WOODS, hailed in Holland as the "new Totilas".

JAZZ, was successful in International Grand Prix and produced top Grand Prix horses such as PARZIVAL and Licenced Stallions including WYNTON, WESTPOINT, CHAGAL D & R, CACHET L, CHARMEUR, JAZZTIME and TANGO. JAZZ was proclaimed KWPN Horse of the Year in 1996.

CHB'S damsire, CONTANGO, launched his outstanding career by being Champion of his 100 Day Performance Test in Germany.  In 2006, he was awarded Preferent Status.  This is only awarded to Keur Stallions that demonstrate outstanding individual qualities and exceptional offspring.

OLYMPIC COCKTAIL also performed at the highest possible level and achieved numerous victories and high placings in Grand Prix and Kur to music. With his early death in 1999, the KWPN lost one of it's prime stallions.  However, his offspring carry on the tradition.  Among his many Approved Stallion sons are HAVEL, HIERARCH, JAZZ, JORDAN and HICARLOS.  COCKTAIL was awarded The Horse of the Year in 1995. 

FLEMMING is famous for producing the International Grand Prix dressage horses KRACK C and LINGH.

We are delighted to announce the purchase of DEAMONTE from Rachan Sports Horses, AT ONLY 5 DAYS OLD!!!  We believe that this gorgeous colt has real stallion potential and will be running him on with this in mind.  At only 5 days old (pictured) his quality shines through.  He will be shown this year in foal classes before we collect him at weaning.  Next year holds a wealth of possibilities for this well bred young man in coloured, sports horse and warmblood classes.

His sire, DECOPAUGE, (see left), was bred in Canada before being imported to Sweden, where he competed to Prix St George.  Although he is trained to Grand Prix his stud duties took over and he has produced many Premium stock in Sweden, Germany and now the UK.  He passes on his expressive movement and excellent conformation together with his amiable temperament.  

DECOPAUGE is a son of the outstanding ART DECO, (see right), an ELITE stallion who, as well as being a multi-champion in the showring, a GP Dressage stallion and top sire, has also competed in Eventing and Showjumping.  He is considered to be the foundastion sire for all Warmblood Pinto stallions in the USA and was the first stallion in the world to be approved for breeding by the Oldenburg Verband.  He has many stallion sons and his stock are competing st the highest level in all disciplines. 

DEAMONTE is out of the superlative mare WILLEMIET Z, (see left), a STER PREDICATE mare by the exceptional GRIBALDI, a KEUR stallion and sire of Anky Van Grunsven's PAINTED BLACK and also of the worldwide sensation MOORLANDS TORTILAS.

She is out of a mare by ROHDIAMANT, an exceptional ELITE stallion and well known GP stallion by the superstar of breeding RUBINSTEIN.

WILLEMIET Z's foals have all been awarded First Premiums at BEF Evaluations and are multiple Champions in the showring at National level.

We are so excited for the future of DEAMONTE, and hope to grade him as a stallion as a 3 year old.  Until then he will be shown and continue his education in hand.
